Spokesperson: Akhilesh Pratap Singh: He said that the entire nation, particularly the people having faith in Sanatan Dharam, is waiting for answers from the government, the Prime Minister in particular, about who stole donations worth thousands of crores of rupees. He questioned the intriguing silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the massive loot and robbery of the Ram Mandir donations in Ayodhya.
Noting the Prime Minister’s frequent visits and his role in selecting the members of the Trust, Singh expressed surprise over his silence on such a sensitive and serious matter. He pointed out that the Trust was constituted by the Modi government and those entrusted with managing the affairs of the temple were selected under its watch. ‘When serious allegations are being raised against people who were given this responsibility, why is the Prime Minister silent right now?’ he asked.
He raised some important questions, asking why Mahipal Singh, a cash-counting agent, was removed from his job after he pointed out some irregularities. He added that even the CCTV cameras were removed and their footage deleted.
Maintaining that the government does not seem to be honest and impartial in its handling of the matter, he demanded that the investigation be conducted under the direct supervision of a sitting judge of the Supreme Court of India. Saturday, June 27, 2026
