Spokesperson: Dr. Kanhaiya Kumar: Congress Working Committee member and NSUI in-charge Dr Kanhaiya Kumar demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over irregularities in the NEET examination and reiterated the Party’s demand for an immediate ban on the National Testing Agency (NTA). The country’s education system and recurring examination paper leak incidents, alleging that education has been turned into a ‘product’ at the expense of students and their future.

The Congress leader alleged that almost every major competitive examination was facing credibility issues and claimed that questions were now being raised even about examinations conducted by the UPSC.

On the NEET controversy, Dr Kanhaiya alleged that the examination had been marred by irregularities for four consecutive years and said merely restricting social media platforms or messaging applications would not solve the problem.“Instead of blaming technology, strict action must be taken against the corrupt and inefficient system responsible for such leaks,” he said.
